Welcome to the Alpha Chi Omega chapter at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
My name is Steph Vagelos, and I am so honored to be serving as the Chapter President for the 2024 term.
As I walked through our teal doors during recruitment, I just knew that Alpha Chi was going to be my home. The amount of genuine, supportive women I have met during my three years here are such a crucial reason as to why I serve as the President of this amazing sisterhood.
I have realized over my time here that Alpha Chi Omega is not just an organization, it’s a home, a community of real, strong women that will always have your back. I’ve laughed, sang, danced, cried, and celebrated with so many of my incredible sisters, and I can confidently say that this place changed my time at Georgia Tech for the better. The women here help me everyday to be the best version of myself, both academically and socially.
I chose Alpha Chi Omega because I saw that I would be surrounded by people who I can grow with, look up to, and be inspired by. I knew I wanted to be in a place where people didn’t shy away from change, but accepted it and turned it into something positive. Many of my sisters chose AXO for leadership opportunities, an inclusive community, or a place to socialize, and many others loved our passion for our philanthropy or the academic and professional support we provide. And while we each joined for our own respective reasons, our sisters stay because of the bond of Alpha Chi Omega that unites our sisterhood – a bond characterized by diverse ideas, rich passions, and a sense of fulfillment at GT and in the broader Atlanta community.
I hope this website gives you a little insight to all that we are so proud of and how we as the Epsilon Phi chapter seek the heights at Georgia Tech.
Loyally,
Steph
