Letter from the
President
Welcome to the Alpha Chi Omega chapter at Georgia Tech!
My name is Amelia Lemmon, and I am so honored to be the 2025 Chapter President of Alpha Chi.
When I went through recruitment in 2022, I had just moved to a new school in a new state with all new people, and I was terrified. But from the very first time I walked through those teal front doors, I knew I was home. During recruitment I could immediately see just how much these women care for each other, and knew it was a sisterhood I needed to be a part of.
Each and every day affirms that choice I made as a PNM, and the community we have has grown me as a woman, and equipped and encouraged me to run for President. This group of real, strong, women are my biggest cheerleaders, my fiercest advocates, and the most caring shoulders to cry on.
As a sister, I have watched my friends and myself grow as women and leaders, while giving back to our campus and community. But these are not just women who have cheered me on during my highs, but have stood by me at my lowest and who I can always count on to push me to be best.
I came into college wanting a diverse, strong community of women, and Alpha Chi certainly has given me that. I’ve met the women I look up to and am inspired by, and now get to mentor those younger than me. We are more than a student group, we are truly a sisterhood with a shared bond that transcends our individual interests. These women have truly diverse passions and has given me such deep fulfillment in my time here so far.
I truly hope that the information on this page is able to give you an insight into our community that is so dear to us and how we seek the heights in all that we do!
Loyally,
Amelia
